AQUA Hotel Onabrava & Spa 4*Sup

We used this hotel as our base for exploring Barcelona, as its location is very convenient, either you have your own car or use public transport. Train station is located just outside the hotel, and you can travel from there right to Placa de Catalunya. Hotel itself is near the beach and short walk from Carrefour supermarket. As we travelled in low season, Santa Susanna town was rather very quiet and most of the shops and restaurants were closed down. Despite that, hotel was lively and full of tourists from all over the world. Our room was clean and spacious, with super comfy beds and nice view from the balcony. Teenage kids enjoyed their time at the swimming pool and game zone room, which were a life saver during bad weather we were unlucky enough to experience. We loved the breakfast, with great selection of hot and cold food, pastries, fruits and even Proseco for a good start of the day. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and made our stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel is absolutely wonderful, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. They are always eager to help with anything you need. For instance, when we arrived at 9:50 PM on check-in day due to some delays with our plane and train, we were worried we’d miss dinner, which ends at 10:00 PM. But the receptionist was so considerate—he suggested we head straight to dinner first and check in afterward, so we wouldn’t miss out. That was such a thoughtful gesture! The food here is fantastic, both at breakfast and dinner, with lots of variety. There were always at least three different types of fish at dinner, along with other seafood like mussels, shrimp, and squid. The selection of meat dishes, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, and pastries is also impressive. The nearest beach is about 250 meters away, but we preferred the one that’s around 400-500 meters from the hotel. It’s large, very clean, and despite its size, it’s surprisingly uncrowded, making it a perfect spot to relax.

It’s a lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet had a great selection every morning. The hotel is close to Carrefour and the beach. It is our second time to staying in Santa Susanna and we will be back again!

The room was really nice, beds comfortable. We had superior room with sea/swimming pool view. Great meals, always fresh and big variety. Nice swimming pool area, very calm. Very close to the train station and to the beach. Professional staff at the reception.

Everyone was super friendly and helpfull. Restaurant staff always smily and big thanks to Miss Ilona for hospitality. Great animation team always kept us entertained but ny biggest surpise and awesome doscovery was really good fitness gym and spa with comd baths! That very well equipped gym kept me happy for whole stay and I will absolutely recommend hotel to others! All around positive. Thanks to sll at Aqua Onabrava for great holidays.
